The performance of the S&P 500 in the first half of the year was particularly robust. Year to date through June 12, the index had recorded 28 new all-time highs and demonstrated a near-14% increase, including the 11th-best Q1 performance since 1945. Furthermore, while the Nasdaq-100 (25) and DJIA (19) also achieved multiple new highs, what about the rest of 2024?

Join CFRA's Chief Investment Strategist, Sam Stovall, CFP, and Washington Analysis Senior Political Analyst Joe Lieber in our 2024 Outlook webinar, where they will provide insights into the first half of 2024, highlight performance expectations for the second half of 2024, and analyze how current conditions may reinforce or modify the traditional election-year enthusiasm.

In addition, they will discuss election scenarios that could shift the House and impact the market, as well as winners and losers in Biden's or Trump's Administration.

During this session, we will:

  • Review the outlook for the second half of 2024 and potential market trends
  • Look at insights into the traditional election-year market patterns
