WASHINGTON, DC, October 29, 2024 – Washington Analysis, a CFRA business, welcomes Tatiana Brown Johnson and Dr. Monet Stanford as Senior Vice Presidents of Healthcare Policy. Tatiana and Monet will join the firm on Monday, November 4.
Tatiana joins Washington Analysis from a market-focused policy research firm, where she worked with institutional investors to provide analysis and forecasting of trends and catalysts across healthcare, biopharmaceuticals, and special situations. Tatiana previously worked as a senior health policy analyst at Centene, where she analyzed federal and state level health policy, including issues related to Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D, Medicaid, dual eligible beneficiaries, and social determinants of health, among other responsibilities. She also gained experience as a legislative director at multi-client law and government relations firm Polsinelli.
Prior to joining the private sector, Tatiana served on Capitol Hill, including as a legislative aide to Senator Joe Donnelly. She has also held roles with presidential and state-wide political campaigns. Tatiana holds a master’s in health law and policy from Hofstra University.
Monet joins Washington Analysis from the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM), where she served as director of access and reimbursement policy for the cell and gene therapy sector. In this role, Monet was responsible for analyzing proposals from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and Congress, as well as convening stakeholders from across the biopharmaceutical industry to facilitate forecasts that inform their investment strategies.
Prior to joining ARM, Monet led policy at the Association for Accessible Medicines, a trade association focused on generic and biosimilars industry. She also managed government relations and regulatory affairs for Kaiser Permanente, where she leveraged claims and utilization data to develop forecasts and engage with regulatory agencies. Monet also spent time as a policy development specialist with Centene and as a policy fellow at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. Monet holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland and completed her clinical training through a pharmacy practice residency at Purdue University.
Tatiana and Monet join the firm’s healthcare policy team – senior analysts Laura Hobbs and Ira Loss, and senior research associate Ryan Visnovec – to bolster coverage of issues affecting medical devices, diagnostics, equipment, biopharma, providers, and services, among other healthcare subsectors. Coverage will include legislative and regulatory initiatives, coverage and reimbursement determinations, and litigation, among other issues. Additional details on coverage will be provided next month.
